Friday through Sunday following Labor Day, 9/6 through 9/8.

Billings Montana and Cody, Wyoming are the two closest airports to Red Lodge, MT.

The Red Lodge Comfort Inn, The Irma in Cody, and the Alpine in Cooke City have all given us a group rate – under “The Beartooth Challenge”.

The roads are paved and easily ridden on a road bike.  The traffic should be fairly light given the dates are considered off-peak for tourists.

There will be sag vehicles for rider support each day.  A single bag for each rider will be transported to each hotel on each day.

Yes, there will be a rest stop approximately half way on each day of the ride.  Day 2 will have a lunch stop in the Sunlight Basin area.

Each rider will get their official ride jersey at the Red Lodge hotel check-in the night before the ride begins.

There will be a group dinner in Red Lodge, MT that is included with the registration fee.

The entire route is at high elevation, above 5,000 feet and at one point above 10,000 – see the elevation chart.  This requires all riders to train vigorously so they are physically fit for long climbs at high elevations – see training.
